What a busy half term we have had in The Early Years. We have learned lots through looking at different traditional tales. We have explored the different stories through dance and drama, we've used our creative skills and built different houses like the Three Little Pigs, we even practised our hammering skills! We made our own storyboard pictures with our friends. We learned about comparing sizes - small, large, tall, short, long...through the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We learned about capacity and measured porridge oats carefully in spoonfuls. We made our own porridge too. We even had a visit from Goldilocks who broke a chair in our classroom and left a mess on the floor!
We've done lots of number activities - we've counted, matched numbers, put them in order, written numbers and even learned about adding and subtracting!
We've learned about different Old testament stories in RE....our favourites being Noah's Ark, David and Goliath, Daniel and the Lions' Den, Moses in the Basket and Jonah and the Whale.
We've taken part in Safer Internet Day and Mental Health day too!
