Warkworth C of E Primary school’s PTA has been put in place to work closely with the school to assist in funding and running activities throughout the school year.  Over the years we have raised money to aid the building of 2 new classrooms, replaced some of the old reading books, paid for school trips, paid for extra-curricular teachers to come into the school to teach something different and held disco’s and parties – these are just a few examples of the excellent work we have been able to achieve with the amazing support from the parents, community and staff.

The PTA is a registered charity and as such, looks for different opportunities to raise funds. The aims are :

  • To be efficient and effective
  • To ensure demands made on members, parents and staff are reasonable
  • To constantly explore methods of raising much needed funds for the school, with minimal effort –       e.g. grants
  • To share the workload in fund raising events
  • To work as a team
  • To support and promote the values/ethos of the school
  • To put health and safety first
  • To provide a wide variety of experiences
  • To ensure everyone’s contribution is valued

But most of all; the PTA is working in partnership with Warkworth C of E Primary School to make a difference for your child.
