KS2 Gymnastics School Games Competition

8th February 2018
6 children from KS2 went to the School Games Gymnastics competition at Bothal school with Mrs Stones.  They had learnt two tricky routines in school which the had to perform in front of judges. The routines included moves like forward rolls, backwards rolls, teddy bear rolls, back support and cartwheels to name but a few.  While at the competition the children also got to take part in some other fun activities.  They got to try out the big trampoline, skipping, partner balances, rhythmic gymnastics and a springboard. They had such fun trying these out, and competing against other local schools, and came away in a very respectable 8th place!  Well done guys!
